O'Shea's currently has a vacancy for an experienced, Full-Time Cleaning Supervisor who can train, supervise and mentor a team of high-level, detailed scheduled cleaners. Part of your role will also be liaising with customers who require on-going, regular, scheduled cleaning services.

 

This excellent ongoing opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Cleaning Supervisor to join our expert, highly trained team.  Applicants must have a Police Clearance, transport & driver's license.

High-level, detailed, domestic cleaning experience is required to fill this position.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Full-time Cleaning Supervisor who has proven experience providing scheduled/ regular cleaning services.

 

O'Shea's provides scheduled cleaning services to both commercial and domestic clients. We are currently seeking a Supervisor who can oversee these services and lead a team of cleaners to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.

 

The required days of work are Monday - Friday; hours of work are during the day and may vary slightly from day to day. Some evening and weekend hours may be required by negotiation, with advance notice.

 

Your duties will include:

  • Quoting jobs
  • Creating cleaning scopes
  • Training staff
  • Problem-solving
  • Complaints management
  • Covering cleaners leave
  • Managing client relationships
  • Quality management audits
  • Some hands-on cleaning
  • Mentoring cleaning staff
  • Creating a positive team culture

To successfully secure the position, it is essential that you:

  • have a police clearance and a current drivers license
  • can travel to jobs at various locations 
  • always be neat in appearance, reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • are prepared to roll your sleeves up and take a hands-on approach
  • have proven experience supervising other cleaners
  • have demonstrated experience leading and directing other staff
  • enjoy creating a positive team culture
  • have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • have a positive attitude toward problem-solving
  • can quality check your own work and your team's work
  • can communicate effectively with customers and have exceptional customer service skills 
  • can work unsupervised, are trustworthy and loyal
  • be able to handle heavy physical work
  • have an eye for detail, as only high-quality work is acceptable
  • have a good sense of humour and good time management skills
  • have a flexible attitude toward working hours, which may vary 
  • have demonstrated experience in the same or a similar role

 

To be successful in this position, you must have a current Police Clearance, Drivers License  and domestic cleaning experience
